Prospector Collection: Canadian Shield Series Horizontal Pendant #3

Inspired by the legendary gold veins running through the ancient bedrock of the Canadian Shield, this collection transforms what’s left behind—glass fragments and powder from our grinders and saws—into something striking and new. Using a signature technique developed in our studio, we fuse these remnants into stone-like forms, each streaked with molten gold to echo the hidden patterns deep in Northern Ontario and Quebec.

Just as in nature, it takes time and patience to accumulate enough glass waste for each piece. Every finished work is a marriage of resilience and refinement—raw yet sophisticated, forged from the overlooked and made to shine. Each one-of-a-kind piece pays tribute to the enduring landscapes and hidden treasures that helped shape Canada’s history.

Because each piece in the Canadian Shield Vein collection is made from upcycled glass waste, you may notice small imperfections—like areas of fogginess or less-polished surfaces. These natural marks are part of the process and story, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
